June 2023 CATA Summer Conference
Join us in San Luis Obispo for the annual California Agricultural Teachers’ Association (CATA) Summer Conference! Professional Sessions, AgriSkills Sessions, and the Idea Show are all centered around the professional development of agricultural teachers. All sessions are specific to the curriculum and concepts taught in agricultural education at the middle school, secondary, and post-secondary levels. These sessions are centered around classroom instruction, Supervised Agricultural Experience (work experience), and student leadership development. Presenters include National FFA staff, National Association of Agricultural Education staff, California Department of Education staff, university and community college personnel, and experienced agricultural teachers from throughout the state. Additionally, CATA Conference offers participants the opportunity to interact and network with agricultural education professionals from all over California.
The conference officially begins on Monday, June 26, 2023, with pre-conference activity beginning on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Conference registration MUST be submitted online. We strongly suggest that you pre-register for Summer Conference by May 31st, otherwise, some of the meal functions may no longer be available and the cost to register increases.
