2009 CURRICULAR CODE CHANGES 

The following contests will be up for change this year:

Agricultural Sales Contest
Extemporaneous Public Speaking
General Rules
Grapevine Judging
Land Judging
Meat Judging
Milk Quality & Dairy Foods
Ornamental Horticulture
Prepared Public Speaking
Small Engines
Specialty Animal Judging
Vegetable Crop Judging

Requests received to open the following contests:

Agricultural Issues Forum (Trial Contest)
Agricultural Welding (Trial Contest)

If you want to make any changes to the existing contest, you must adhere to the following format:

1.    All changes must be in to the CATA Executive Director's Office by June 1, 2009.

2.    Changes must be submitted in Microsoft Word, as an attachment, and emailed to cata@calagteachers.org.

3.    These changes should include what is to be deleted and/or inserted, and include a rationale for the change.

4.    All electronically submitted changes will be posted on the website at www.calagteachers.org.

5.    Changes can also be submitted through fax and mail.  However, due to time restraints, these changes may not appear on the website and may not be made available until the review meeting on the Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo campus, June 21, 2009, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  All mailed/faxed changes should be sent to:

*Only those changes submitted by June 1, 2009 will be allowed to be made to the contest.  No other changes allowed.
