SUBJECT:  First Call to CATA Summer Conference

Plans for Summer Conference 2010 are now beginning to develop.  Please allow this to serve as your “First Call” to this big event to be held at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo!  The conference officially begins on Monday, June 21, with pre-conference activity beginning on Sunday, June 20.

There are a couple of ways to submit your registration and CATA dues.  You can submit everything electronically by following the procedures online at 2010 CATA Conference Registration .  If you prefer to handle a “hard copy” of the forms and write on them, you can download the Conference Registration and CATA Dues form, fill them out and send them in with your purchase order, check or credit card information (FAX is okay with credit card or purchase order).  Please keep a copy for your records.  We strongly suggest that you pre-register for Summer Conference – waiting in line will only cut in on your ability to fully enjoy the Sunday evening reception!

The “Final Call” to the CATA Conference will be distributed via the web and email in May.  It will contain much more detail.

Sunday, June 20, will include the Curricular Code Committee meetings.  Coaches and others interested in the “C" list contests should plan to meet from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday afternoon.

If you want the best deals in housing, act early.  Embassy Suites, Days Inn, Super 8, and Cuesta Canyon Lodge , The Cliffs Resort (others, too!!) have special rates if you reserve early and mention CATA.

The North Coast Region is diligently working on plans for an outstanding evening at the Annual Banquet.  It will once again be held at the conference facility at Madonna Inn, so buy your ticket's early to guarantee a seat.

We look forward to seeing you in June!
